Tour des Seigneurs de la Porte Saint Ours

WHERE: on the northern side of the Porta Praetoria, at the crossroads between Sant’Anselmo and Porta Praetoria streets.
 
HISTORY: The church was built in the Middle Ages by the will of the Lords of Porta Sant’Orso (subsequently referred to as "the Lords of Quart"), from 1830 it became known as the "Tour de l'Insinuation" and housed the office that kept the notary public acts. Later it was an exhibition center and now houses the Tourist Office of Aosta.
 
HOURS: The Tourist Office of Aosta is open: 
  • High season (from December 1 to September 30): every day from 9 to 19;
  • Low season (from 30 September to 1 December): every day from 9 to 13, and from 15 to 19.
