Description
On Thursday 10 February at 6 pm, the Ducal Hall of the Hôtel de Ville will host the event "The tragedy of the sinkholes", organized by the municipal administration on the "Day of Remembrance", a solemnity established in 2004, which on 10 February of each year to memory the massacres of the sinkholes and the Julian Dalmatian exodus.
After the introduction by the mayor Gianni Nuti, the interventions on the theme will follow by Paolo Gheda, associate professor of contemporary history at the University of Valle d'Aosta, and by Corrado Binel, vice president of the Historical Institute of the Resistance and of contemporary society in Valle d'Aosta.
The meeting will be moderated by the President of the City Council, Luca Tonino.
The symposium is free admission upon reservation.
Requests must be sent by e-mail by 3pm on Thursday 10 February to organi-istituzionale@comune.aosta.it
If the reservations are not sufficient to fill the room, it will, however, be possible to access until the maximum capacity allowed by the anti-Covid protocol, equal to 25 seats (excluding speakers), is reached.
To access you must have a reinforced Green Pass and FFP2 mask.
